Theory and Reality

Little Johnny had to write a paper for school on theory and reality. He was not sure

of the difference so he asked his father. "Dad I need to know the difference

between theory and reality for school. Can you help me?" Little Johnny asked "Sure son, follow me and I will show you" his father replied, they went into the kitchen to talk to Johnny's mother. "Honey, if you had the chance to sleep with Robert Redford for $2 million, would you, if noone would ever find out?" his father asked. She thinks about it for a few minutes and replies, "No I don't think so." "Come on Honey, be honest. No one would ever find out, would you do it?" his father persisted. "Well if noone would find out, yes I think I would." Mom replied. "Thanks for being honest honey." Dad told her and led Johnny into the den, where Johnny's sister was watching TV.” Sally, if you had the chance to sleep with Mel Gibson, for $2 million would you? No one would ever find out>" Dad asked her. She thought about it for a few minutes and replied, "No I don’t think so." "Come on Sally, no one would ever find out. Be honest." Dad told her. "Well.......yes I would if no one would ever find out." she replied. "Ok, thanks for being honest." Dad told her. He then led little Johnny back into his study. "There you have it son, theory and reality." Dad told him. "I still don't get it." Johnny told him, looking up kind of puzzled. "Look at it this way. In THEORY we are sitting on $2 million, but in REALITY we are living with a couple of whores" Dad explained
